Mr. Li graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Computer Science degree from York University in 2004. He then went on to earn his Bachelor of Administration degree from York University in 2007.
From 2005 to 2008, while earning his Administration degree, he worked as a part-time bookkeeper for several owner-managed companies in various industries including information technology services, human resources management, wholesale and retail industries and property management.
Mr. Li started with the Doxsee & Co. (formerly Doxsee & Shimizu) in 2008. His initial role was that of assisting with client bookkeeping issues, however, he has gradually moved to a junior accountant role. Although his main scope is providing bookkeeping services to clients, he is also focused on assisting with completion of year-end files for clients as well as preparing personal and corporate tax returns. Mr. Li also undertakes an extensive amount of tax research at the Firm. He is also registered in the ICAO Professional Program.
In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, badminton and travel. Mr. Li resides in Etobicoke, Ontario.
